What is like to be a PARENT?

Eat, work, sleep, repeat. Working adults’ lives are stressful and tiring. Some of us get to be the bosses, some of us are the employees. but some of us are unemployed.

What about the life of a working adult who has children?

Working parents are not as easy as it seems. They are also breadwinners of the household. At times, both parents will be in heated arguments due to stress level and tiredness from work and home. Ones have to sacrifice their sleeping hour to calm a newborn. Some parents also switch off their work phones just to spend time with their children. Children need care, love, and attention during their first five years of their development milestones. Parents try their best to give the best for their children.

“We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves.” – Beecher, H. W.

As working parents, we tend to juggle everything by ourselves. We try to fulfill expectations from friends and family, significant others, and working environments. We tend to care about the image of being a parent especially in the public. We know that other people’s thoughts are uncontrollable. All we can do is parents to work as a team to give the best we can. One thing that still keeps us going, is to come home with a warm welcome from loved ones.
