In therapy, it is important for all clients to know that counselling is a process of identifying, exploring, learning abilities from mistakes, trust in themselves, and creating positive relationships in order to create well lived experiences.“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”

Goals & belief/ values
I have always had a curiosity for humans and the issues we experience. I learn a lot from other people’s experience, and I read a lot regarding the experiences people have faced in their lives. I have a personal interest in exploring themes that relate to the human condition; sadness, loneliness, boredom, companionship, relationship issues, and communication issues among many others. I also cherish my own experiences and how they have been genuinely listened to by others which made me feel better about myself. I decided to be a counselor as a desire to be part of the process with individuals going through whatever they are experiencing and to make them better versions of themselves along the way.
I truly believe that there is nothing compared to the human touch and feel, meaning, nothing like a face-to-face conversation, which is totally different from what we experience from social media these days. Either way, I believe that the human species is capable of steering their life and choices, but it does not have to be done alone. The first step is awareness and being honest as vulnerability is something that we all fear. If that is unlocked, we have so many possibilities to work on as counselling is a safe environment to start at!

Goals & belief/ values
Emotions can be scary, confusing, and irrational; you cannot make sense of what is going on around you. You may be shutting off all relationships because you believe no one will ever understand what you are going through. I have my own fair share of this chaos at various stages of my life. It felt lonely for me, but my internal strength and external support expanded throughout this journey. With that, I want to help expand yours too; let me sit with you to surf this chaos and make sense of what is happening together. My job is to help you gain confident with your inner world, so that you could transcend that energy to face life. Life obstacles may appear to be external, but more often than not, the obstacles happen from within.

Goals & belief/ values
It is the desire to help yourself that would allow you to reap the best possible outcome from therapy. Change starts from taking the first step, the smallest step forward from your current position. By reaching out and seeking therapy, it is a milestone that deserve an applause. A therapy session is a no-judgement zone, a channel for you to express your inner turmoil and it allows you to recognise your feelings and thoughts. Being vulnerable and honest with yourself is the start of your self-discovering journey. In a therapy session, you are the narrator of your life, in control of your stories and the way you would like to share it. The hiccups, the writer’s block you have faced in life and the uncertainty on deciding is a part of living. I am here, to assist you, in guiding and in hope that you can view a clearer picture of the life you would like to embark on. A counsellor is not an all-knowing saint or exempted from mistakes. As a teenager, I struggled with my own insecurities and punished myself for these flaws. In that instance, I attended counselling sessions which allows me to appreciate the menial, little things and to slowly accept the imperfection we are made of. Our lives were never destined to be smooth sailing, sometimes we need an anchor and at times we would have to learn to adjust the sails, that is learning to accept the person we are, and it takes effort and time. With this opportunity given to me, I would like to reach out my hand in companionship – so take my hand and let’s embark on a journey of learning from each other so we can steer well.
